Classes
Agama courses deliver a complete understanding of an esoteric system of self-development designed for individuals who are passionate about spiritual development. For the time being, our courses are established in India, Greece, Thailand, Israel and Mexico. We are also allied with various other centers and teachers worldwide that offer equivalent or similar education. As a result of the distinct nature of the teachings, our courses are split into consecutive one-month blocks of study. The whole curriculum commences with our standard First Level Intensive Course.
This beginners’ course is a systematic approach to Yoga, in the secret oral tradition. It demands absolutely no preparation or prior knowledge. The classes begin with basic information and exercise and gradually proceed to complex techniques.
Enrollment
A superb characteristic of the Agama teachings is the cyclical format of courses. The teachings have been completely structured to ensure that any student can join, for instance, a student can take the preliminary First Level Intensive Course at a convenient time (this program is taught on a monthly basis in Thailand), and proceed with his or her studies as opportunity permits. This course is specially designed to ensure that beginners can easily fit in at any phase, and you can also join the course for shorter periods (for instance, on a daily or weekly basis), or even complete it in little sections, over for extended periods.
The same course structure does apply to all our advanced and intermediate classes. We usually have the second and third stages of the course once a month and advanced or intermediate levels twice a year (see Calendar for entire course offerings). Students enroll as their time and means permit, studying probably two months with us over winter, and then get back to work in their home country with a plan to synchronize with subsequent course levels in the following year’s holiday. In this manner, a student can progress through the curriculum easily and efficiently.
Course supplements
Each and every class has printed materials accompanying it. This contains detailed information regarding the latest techniques, along with several other esoteric topics. Teachers are always open to respond to questions and to provide counseling, guidance, and healing. Moreover, documentaries and films on relevant topics are shown whenever feasible, in the evenings after the lectures.
Certificates
Students are awarded certificates upon successful completion of the First Month Intensive Course. This occurs during a special graduation ceremony and social evening at the conclusion of every course. Certificates are also given to students who pass different sash degree examinations, specified at periodic stages in the course of the curriculum to investigate progress and performance with the course materials and overall spiritual development.
Higher-level courses
Though the First Level Intensive Course provides a broad knowledge of Yoga, it remains just an appetizer to what Yoga is and exactly what it can do for you and the entire world. Therefore, Agama provides a course of university-level quality, whereby wisdom increases and the technique builds on itself while you progress on your spiritual journey.
